The Mega Gallery Exhibition: The Legacy of the Dalai Lama presented in Sera Jey Monastery, South India

The Tibetan Translation and Research Institute (TTRI) presented the exhibition entitled “The Mega Gallery Exhibition: The Legacy of the Dalai Lama ” on March 3, 2026, in the Dharma Hall of Sera Jey Monastery in southern India. The chief guest, Sera Jey University’s Abbot and Sera Me University’s Acting Abbot, inaugurated the photo exhibition.

In conjunction with the auspicious day of the Chotrul Monlam Chenmo, and in order to celebrate the 90th birthday of our beloved leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Sera Jey University and the Tibetan Translation and Research Institute jointly organised the grand photo exhibition at the Univeristy’s courtyard, which dedicated to the life, work, and enduring legacy of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, for the local residents of Bylakuppe and visitors from various regions.

The Tibetan Translation & Research Institute (TTRI) is honored to present a special exhibition dedicated to the life, work, and enduring legacy of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at two-day forum of the 6th edition of the Geneva Forum on Tibet, which was organised by the Department of Information and International Relations of Central Tibetan Administration and the Office of Tibet in Geneva, Switzerland.

The conference took place from February 9 and 10, 2026, at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland. The Mega Gallery Exhibition: The Legacy of the Dalai Lama, the exhibition was presented to experts, academics, MPs, Speakers and conference participants of the conference from 26 countries.

Speakers and participants of the forum were included Professor Nicolas Levrat, the fourth UN Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues, Uzra Zeya, former US Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues, MP Laurence Fehlmann Rielle, Member of the National Council of Switzerland; Hon. MP Paloma Domínguez Ugarte of Mexico City, Mexico; Hon. Senator Pavel Fischer of the Czech Republic; Hon. MP Michael Brand, Parliamentary State Secretary of Germany; and Dilara Bayrak, Vice President of the Grand Council of Geneva.MP Laurence Fehlmann Rielle, Member of the National Council of Switzerland; Hon. MP Paloma Domínguez Ugarte of Mexico City, Mexico; Hon. Senator Pavel Fischer of the Czech Republic; Hon. MP Michael Brand, Parliamentary State Secretary of Germany; and Dilara Bayrak, Vice President of the Grand Council of Geneva. Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), and Thinlay Chukki, representative of the Office of Tibet in Geneva,etc.

The Mega Gallery Exhibition: The Legacy of the Dalai Lama presented in Drepung Monastery, South India

The Tibetan Translation and Research Institute (TTRI) presented a three-day exhibition entitled “The Mega Gallery Exhibition: The Legacy of the Dalai Lama ” on February 8, 2026, in the Dharma Hall located beneath the main meeting hall of Drepung Gomang Monastery in southern India. This exhibition was organised on the occasion of the first anniversary of the passing of Gyalo Thondup, the elder brother of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to commemorate his noble works.

This grand photo exhibition is co-organized by the Dharamsala Memorial Organizing Committee, Drepung Gomang Monastery, and the Tibetan Translation and Research Institute.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Secretaries of the Gaden Phodrang Office, the Representative of the Central Tibetan Administration in South India, the Abbot of Drepung Gomang Monastery, the Director and Chief Editor of TTRI, as well as Tibetan people, local residents, and tourists.
