Children Encyclopedia We have created what can be considered to be the first ever comprehensive children encyclopedia with 32 volumes in the Tibetan language, with supports of our partners, Shingsa Rinpoche, and Tibetan Society for School & Culture, and Tibet Fund. This children encyclopedia has six parts.
1 Basic Science
These volumes contain basic Science, introducing basic knowledge about atoms, elements, and compounds and chemical reaction.
2 Cosmos
These volumes describe the origin of the universe and formation of galaxies and solar systems.
3 Earth Science
These seven volumes introduce geologic time, continents, oceans, atmosphere, seasons, natural resources, and minerals.
4 Biology
These nine volumes describe biospheres, animals, their habits, birds, reptiles, coral reefs, insects, microscopic life, and human body.
5 Technology
These two volumes tell the story of technological marvels, such computer and airplane, and modern communication.
6 Social Science
These eight volumes describe human civilizations, world’s major religions, wars, institutions, literature, entertainments, art, and invention and inventors.
