Presenting 13 Tibetan translated books to Professor Samdhong Rinpoche and Secretary Tenzin Taklha

The Dragyur’s director Geshe Lungtok Gedun, editor-in-chief Tenzin Rigsang, translators and staff met with the venerable Professor Samdhong Rinpoche on November 14, 2025, at his residence in Dharamshala. We presented him with our 13 Tibetan translated books, as part of the celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday. Rinpoche expressed his appreciation for our work and encouraged us to continue our efforts in our future projects.

The director of Dragyur and translator Kunga also met with Tenzin Taklha, secretary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s office, and presented him with our 13 Tibetan translated books on November 14, 2025.

Offering 13 Tibetan translated books to His Holiness the Dalai Lama

To celebrate His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday, the Tibetan Translation & Research Institute translated 13 books from English into Tibetan, which are on the teachings and biography of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We had the great privilege and honour to receive an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama on November 10, 2025, and offered him our 13 latest Tibetan translated books.

The Tibetan Translation & Research Institute’s books exhibited at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, 2025

With invitation of India’s Ministry of Education, the Tibetan Translation & Research Institute participated in the Frankfurt Book Fair, the world’s largest book fair, held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on October 15-19, 2025. Our director, Geshe Lungtok Gedun attended the book fair and presented our translated books as well as books about and by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the book fair’s visitors. This is our fourth participation at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
